Well here we are then 2006 has arrived.

I got home at about 5am this morning...slightly merry! Fell asleep at about 6am and woke up at 9.30am feeling far too full of life given the amount of vodka I had last night (and this morning!).

A quick wash...well I had to get last nights make up off...and a new set of clothes and I was back out to the club again for 12.45 to settle in to watch the New Years Day Footie match between Hearts and Celtic.

The club is normally closed on New Years Day but was opened specially for the occasion and it was packed...mostly with the same faces that had been there 12 hours earlier...I think most of them were still a bit pissed!

8 minutes into the game and Hearts are leading 2-0. The place is erupting and everyone is feeling just fine. 82 minutes later and the place was like a morgue. We got beat 3-2. Mainly due to some dodgy refereeing and the fact we were playing a bunch of cheating bastards. Despite our heartache though we carried on heading to the bar....I was on juice as I'd nominated myself as driver today!

I'm now home again and having a quiet night in. Well as quiet as it can be when you've got 4 kids running riot upstairs...I also nominated myself babysitter for today! Better Half has consummed his annual Lager quota in 24 hours and is now crashed out on the sofa snoring like a pig.

I wonder if this is a sign of things to come in 2006?!

Happy New Year Jen...May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back and I can't rememeber the rest this early in the morning but you get the idea....LOL
