A Pain In The Ass...

My ass is sore. It hurts to sit down. It also hurts to stand up. It even hurts when I turn over in bed. It's a sharp, stabbing kind of pain.

It's all to with the cocx..I mean cocs...wait a minute till I check the spell check, ah right got it....coccyx apparently. My wee tailbone (that's easier!) is bloody sore, it seems I may have bruised it or something. The posh name for a sore bum of this kind is coccydynia and it is most often due to "some activity which has caused you to bruise or create swelling round the coccyx". I can't think of any activity I've been involved in lately which would have led to me damaging my ass. Honestly Guvnor I can't.

The cox... coc... ah what the hell, the tail bone is just that. A remnant of when we did have tails. These have long since fallen away (or been surgically removed as we have to do for our PDI's!). It is also a measurable item. The loner it is, the shorter time (in millions of years) since our forfathers had them!

In my case, there is no evidence at all of there ever being a tail... go figure!

As for why your might hurt right now, well, I'm pretty sure there is a story in there somewhere. Now, be honest....

"some activity which has caused you to bruise or create swelling round the coccyx".

I can think of many activities which would have led to you damaging your ass. Honestly Guvnor I can! But they wouldn't be for this blogg!!!
